SEO glossary

What are long-tail keywords?

Long-tail keywords are specific search terms that each get relatively few searches, such as "quiet dishwasher for open plan kitchen" rather than "dishwasher". They are usually easier to rank for, show clearer intent and, added together, make up a large share of all searches. Most are three or more words long, but length is not the definition.

Keyword generator FAQ

What is the difference between matching and related terms?

Matching terms contain the topic of your seed. Related terms are what people also search around it, which often brings up angles the seed does not contain.

Do I need a project?

No. The SEO tools work on their own, in any market you pick. Keywords you find can be saved to a project in one click when you want to track them.

Can I share a result?

Yes. The search, the market and the open tab are all in the page address, so a link or a bookmark opens the same view. Anyone opening it runs the search with their own key; a repeat of something already looked up is served from the cache for free.
