SEO audit tool

A full SEO audit of any website, in one page

Enter any domain: yours, a client’s or a competitor’s. The SEO audit reads its search data and puts everything on one page: what to do first, its traffic and authority, how its rankings are spread and moving, keywords close to the top 3, keywords a competitor has and it lacks, sites that link to competitors but not to it, and its backlink profile.

  • Findings in order of importance
  • Keyword and backlink gaps
  • Works for any domain

$0.49 – $0.65 per domain, paid per lookup from your own key. What it costs

SEO audit of zapier.com: findings on keywords close to the top, lost rankings, a keyword gap and a backlink gap, above Domain Rating 91 and 6.8M organic traffic

Findings, most important first

Each finding names the number it rests on and what to do about it: keywords that are nearly there, rankings slipping away, low authority, too few links or all the traffic on one page.

Findings of an SEO audit, each with a severity: keywords close to the top, lost rankings, a keyword gap with techradar.com and sites linking to competitors

Keywords close to the top

Keywords ranking 4 to 20, by the visits a top-3 spot could add, with the page that ranks. Improving those pages is usually the fastest win.

Keywords ranking at positions 4 to 20 with volume, the extra visits a top-3 spot could bring and the ranking page

Keyword gap with the closest competitor

Keywords the closest competitor ranks for and the domain doesn’t, kept to its topic and to difficulty 60 or less, easiest first. Other sites’ brand names are left out.

Keywords techradar.com ranks for and zapier.com does not, with volume, difficulty, CPC and intent

Sites that link to the two closest competitors but not to the domain, those linking to both first: the most likely to link to it too.

SEO glossary

What is an SEO audit?

An SEO audit is a structured review of how a website performs in search and why. It looks at the domain from the outside, the way search data sees it: how much organic traffic it gets, which keywords and pages bring it, how its rankings are spread and moving, how strong its link profile is, and who it competes with. The output is a short list of opportunities in order of importance.

SEO audit tool FAQ

How is this different from a Site audit?

The SEO audit reads search data about a domain: traffic, rankings, backlinks and competitors. It works for any website, including ones you don’t own.

The Site audit crawls your own pages for technical problems such as broken links, redirect chains, missing titles and slow pages. Run both for the full picture.

Which competitors does it compare with?

The two that share the most keywords with the domain, leaving out platforms such as YouTube, Reddit and Wikipedia that rank for everything. In the app you can pick others from the competitor list, and agents can pass up to three.

Can my AI assistant run it?

Yes. The OpenSEO MCP server has a seo_audit tool, and the Claude Code plugin adds a /seo-audit command that turns the result into a short action plan.

Do I need a project?

No. The SEO tools work on their own, in any market you pick. Keywords you find can be saved to a project in one click when you want to track them.

Can I share a result?

Yes. The search, the market and the open tab are all in the page address, so a link or a bookmark opens the same view. Anyone opening it runs the search with their own key; a repeat of something already looked up is served from the cache for free.
